Vasiliki Kapetanou

Assistant Psychologist

Vasiliki Kapetanou is an Assistant Psychologist at CCATS. Vasiliki holds a BA in Psychology from Leiden University in the Netherlands, a MSc in Forensic Psychology from Maastricht University, and a MSc in Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapy from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), completed through ICPS- College for Humanistic Sciences in Athens. 

 

Vasiliki’s role within CCATS involves supporting registered psychologists across children’s residential homes through the delivery of psychological interventions, staff training, and reflective practice. She also assists with psychological assessments, working with both young people and adults who present with a range of complex needs. 

 

Vasiliki is trained to utilise a variety of psychological and forensic assessment tools, including the HCR-20v3, SAPROF, PCL-R, SVR-20, IPDE, SCID-5, and WAIS-IV. 

 

In previous roles, Vasiliki worked in a rehabilitation center for drugs and alcohol and completed a clinical and research internship at a high secure hospital, gaining experience in psychological assessment, therapeutic interventions for aggression, and forensic research. She also has experience co-facilitating LMV-therapy for individuals presenting with complex mental health and forensic needs.
